Indulgence peppermint bars are a refreshing part of the holidays. But, they're also delicious right into January, February and March.
Here's a great idea for what to do with them when you're tired of eating them out of hand.
This rich hot chocolate is perfect for a post snow shoveling treat!
Real Peppermint Hot Chocolate
makes 3-4 servings
- 3 cups whole milk
- ½ cups whipping cream
- 7 ounces Indulgence Peppermint Chocolate (two bars), finely chopped
- 2 heaping tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ⅛ teaspoons salt
In a medium saucepan, bring the milk and cream to a low simmer over medium heat, whisking occasionally.
Add the chopped chocolate, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Whisk vigorously until all of the chocolate has melted. Whisk for 3-4 minutes or until hot and frothy.
Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
